| SACRAMENTO - Governor Pete Wilson today announced the
following appointments to the California Transportation Commission: ** Roger A. Kozberg, 61, of Beverly Hills, has been a senior vice president of J & H, Marsh & McLannan, an insurance brokerage firm, since 1987. Previously, Kozberg was the chief executive officer of Edward Lee Kozberg & Sons. an insurance brokerage firm, from 1960 to 1982. In 1982, the company merged with Alexander & Alexander, where Kozberg served as a vice president until 1987. Kozberg, a dedicated community leader, is a member of the board of directors of the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau and a trustee of the California Museum Foundation. He is a member of the board and past president of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission. and a member of the board and past president of the California Science Center. He also serves as a member of the board of governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and is a member of the Insurance Commissioner's Agents and Brokers Advisory Committee. Kozberg earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1958. He served as an officer in the United States Navy; ** Dana W. Reed, 53, of Newport Beach. is a partner with the firm of Reed and Davidson. where he has been an attorney since 1985. He was a partner with the firm of Dobbs and Nielsen from 1978 to 1983. Appointed by Governor George Deukmejian, Reed served as undersecretary of the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency from 1983 to 1985. He served as a member of the Orange County Transportation Authority from 1986 to 1991. -MORE- |
