Local Bridge Seismic Retrofit Account (LBSRA)
Proposition 1B authorized $125 million of state general obligation bonds for the LBSRA. The funds are available to the Commission, upon appropriation by the Legislature, to provide the 11.5 percent required match for federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) funds available to the state for seismic work on local bridges, ramps, and overpasses as identified by the Department of Transportation (CalTrans).
